The Youngest Public High School in Pola, Oriental Mindoro

The school was founded in the year 2008. Way back then, the school was formerly known as Domingo Yu Chu National High School - Tagumpay Extension, being the youngest annex school of Domingo Yu Chu National High School. It is 9 km away from the town proper and was accessible only by sea until 2018. The school started operating without any formal classroom and merely sharing classrooms inside Tagumpay Elementary School. It continuously served the public through the supervision of Ma'am Naneth Guyo as teacher-in-charge. She was then succeeded by Sir Roger G. Abante as Head Teacher. Sir Roger supervised the school for five years. By the year 2014, he was succeeded by Sir Rodirex R. Mampusti. In 2015, Ma'am Mariza F. Jamilla became the new school head. Moreover, in 2016, the school finally got separated from its mother school and was formally named Leandro Panganiban Sr. - Tagumpay High School. By January 2021, Ma'am Jamilla was succeeded by Ma'am Lezebel A. Gonzales who is supervising the school up to the present.
